This seven-day adventure through Ladakh offers a comprehensive journey into one of the world’s most spectacular high-altitude regions. The tour begins in Leh, with a crucial day for acclimatization before exploring the surrounding Sham Valley. This initial leg covers significant landmarks such as the military-run Hall of Fame, the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the intriguing Magnetic Hill, and the stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. The early days are designed to immerse you in the local culture and landscapes with visits to Leh Palace and the serene Shanti Stupa, providing panoramic views of the area.

The expedition then ventures into more remote territories, starting with a drive over the famed Khardung La pass to the picturesque Nubra Valley. A key highlight is the excursion to the unique border village of Turtuk, which offers a glimpse into a distinct Balti culture and a poignant history. The journey continues to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, a high-altitude saltwater lake known for its stunning, multi-hued waters stretching across the India-China border. The tour concludes with a scenic return drive to Leh over the Changla Pass, completing a memorable circuit of Ladakh’s most iconic valleys, passes, and lakes.

Itinerary








Day 01- ARRIVE LEH

Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft is the Nun Kun massif, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it. Upon arrival you will met by TIH Representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize high altitude. Dinner and overnight stay at Leh.

DAY 02: LEH EXCURSION TO INDUS & SHAM VALLEY REGION

After breakfast leave to visit Sham Valley and start sightseeing starting with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for Every India. Post visit proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib Nestled deep in the Himalayas, at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh it was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji. A drive of another 4 km shall take you to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes Sangam- ConfluenceOf Two Rivers Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar River is known for its famous Chadar Trek. Afterwards visit Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa a top of the Hill to experience panoramic view of Leh city and high snow camped mountains. Later we drive back to Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 03: LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY

After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore the beautiful village of Sumur&Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

DAY 04: NUBRA – TURTUK – NUBRA:

One of the most fascinating journeys in Ladakh this is a less popular destination recently opened for tourist, if you have a thirst for a beautiful location this is the place. En-route spectacular mountain ranges and Villages like. This region is controlled mainly by the Ladakh Scouts a rear department of the India Army. A border village that was recaptured by the Indian Army in 1971. Locals have relatives across the border (Line of Control) and depend mainly on farming of vegetables, apricot besides providing mules and porters. Baltistan a beautiful village with charming people “On the night of December 13, 1971, the people of this village went to sleep in Pakistan. The next morning, they woke up in India.” We are in Turtuk, listening to a villager recount the history of this remote northwest corner of Ladakh, which until that night was part of Baltistan in PoK. A full day rough excursion and evening back to Nubra Valley. Overnight stay at the camp/Hotel/Cottage

DAY 05: NUBRA – PANGONG LAKE:

After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft.) enroute visit Shyok River & Durbuk Village. Arrive at Pangong Lake is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake with multi- colour reflections and the fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake in camp/cottage

DAY 06: PANGONG – LEH:

This morning, after breakfast, drive around the Pangong Lake and don’t forget to click photos!! Afterwards drive to Leh through the Changla Pass 17,350 ft is the third highest motor-able road in the world. Arrival at Leh and if time permits afternoon free at leisure to roam around Leh Markets for shopping and personal activities, overnight at Hotel in Leh.

DAY 07: LEH DEPARTURE:

Today, bid farewell to your Lake and Pass Ladakh’ tour, as you are transferred to Airport in Leh for your onward journey.
